Seasalt Tank is worked bottom up, in one piece. It starts with a charming scalloped edge, then the body is worked straight to the underarm where the work is divided into back and front parts and the decreasing starts to shape the armholes. Back and front are worked in rows. After the neckline shaping, stitches are joined on the shoulders with Kitchener Stitch. The stitches for the neckline and armholes are picked up and finished with I-Cord Bind Off.

Seasalt Tank is part of Sydney Summer Knits ebook. See the ebook preview: Booklet

About the ebook: Sydney Summer Knits collection contains four brand-new, unique summer patterns inspired by my new home – Sydney. This collection is my tribute to its inspiring beauty. You will find here three tops and one dress, each design mirroring a different feature of the city. All the designs are created in the style closest to my heart, which I dare to name modern romanticism. The designs are made using a variety of techniques. You will work from the bottom up, top-down and sideways, and use both basic and sophisticated stitch patterns.
The book also includes short articles about the city and my inspirations, recommended places, reviews of the chosen yarns, refined lists of yarn substitutions, and knitting tips.
