There is nothing like a good, eye-catching and comfy unisex pullover! Kookaburra Jumper took its name from the fascinating Australian bird whose plumage is full of unique textures. It is a simple and cosy project, which gives lots of satisfaction and fun while knitting. Straight and easy construction fits perfectly to all body shapes and allows to adjust the sweater to our needs.

Kookaburra is an everyday, unisex jumper, with moderate positive ease to provide comfort and casual look. Its yoke is decorated with a rustic texture pattern, which can be successfully expanded to the whole body part replacing a simple and quick to make, but graceful Double Seed st pattern. It is all up to you! The jumper was designed taking male proportions into account, so consider length modification of your sleeves and body to your personal measurements if needed.

It is worked top-down and completely seamless. It starts with two front pieces, which, after neckline and shoulder shaping, are joined and worked straight down to the underarm. Stitches for the back are then picked up and after shoulder shaping, worked straight down to the underarm. After armhole shaping, the back and front pieces are joined together and continued straight down in one piece to the hem. Sleeves stitches are picked up around the armholes and after cap shaping, worked in the round down to the cuffs. The shoulders and sleeves are shaped by short rows. The pattern describes the “German Short Rows” method which gives best results.

The pattern contains detailed instructions for making a jumper in 7 sizes and two language versions – Polish and English. For your convenience, each size has its own file, with instructions only for the given size. You will not have to search for instructions on complicated charts nor print many irrelevant information! Just pick your size and knit without distractions! IMPORTANT: you get access to all files (all languages and all sizes).
